A blog is a website that allows users to reflect, shares opinions, and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal while readers may comment on posts.

Blogs are discussion or informational site published on the consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first). Blogs were usually the work of a single individual occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject.

A blog came from the word weblog,  which is a type of website which has post entries appearing in a reverse chronological order. Blog post usually appears with the most recent post first, just like a diary or a journal.
A blog is typically updated regularly and frequently. It usually focuses on a particular subject matter.

         what you need to know before creating a blog

Before you create a blog you should be able to answer the following questions.
• Why you want to start a blog?
• What your blog will focus on?
• Which of the blogging platform will you use?
• Decide which web hosting to use.

How to create the blog?

There are some many blog platforms, such as Google blogger, WordPress blog, joomla etc. But what I will recommend for a starter is Google blogger. Why Google blogger? because a for starter you do not have enough fund or money to buy  domain and hosting. So it will be better for you to go for Google blogger since they offered free domain and that of hosting. But if you think you can afford to buy domain and hosting, then you can go in for a better platform like WordPress.

How do I get an account with Google blogger?

Blogger is owned by Google. To get an account with blogger you only need a Gmail account and that’s all you are now ready to become a blogger.

            Creating the blog

To create a blog with blogger, just follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to blogger.com it will direct you to Google login page where you have to sign in with your Gmail account. If you don’t have a Gmail accounts create one and login.

Step 2: After you have signed in, it will take you to the blogger page. Look at the top left Conner of the page you will see new blog. Click on it and you should see a list of details such as:
blog title, Address, and template. Fill in the necessary fields and click on create.



you are now done with the creation of the blog. You can now go ahead to customize your blog the way you like it.
