follow the steps below in order to make a pendrive bootable
Step 1: Go to cmd and type diskpart, type list disk . Select your pen drive from the list of disk that appears. To select the disk type: “select disk” then follow by the disk number. E.g. let’s say the pen drive number is 3, then you type “select disk 3” and press enter.
Step 2: Select the volume by typing the command “select volume <n>. Where n stands for volume number say “3”. That is your pen drive volume number.
Step 3: Type clean and press enter, then type “create partition primary”.
Then type format fs=ntfs/fat32 quick and then press enter.
Step 4. Type active and press the enter key to activate it. Go to the folder where the OS you want to install is located, copy it to the pen drive and that’s it you have now successfully created a bootable pen drive and you can now use it to format and PC.
